IT Manager and systems engineering and design for a highly skilled technology solutions provider for behavioral healthcare agencies across all of Utah and nationwide. Primary architect for all virtualization initiatives and data center consolidation efforts. Manage and oversee all activities and deployments for wireless systems, firewalls, content management systems, web filtering, database management and other technology efficiencies.

The focus of this position was to allow for a mixture of hands on management and supervision of the Network Operations staff as well as plan, engineer and meet with other managers and departments to ascertain their business and technical needs from such perspectives of bandwidth requirements, overall projected system performance, scalability and throughput. I established specific key performance indicators (KPI) to track performance on a weekly and monthly basis against prior year's historical performance via an integrated dashboard. As the Senior Network Administrator in the corporate office of Flying J, I held a wide range of technical responsibilities in the organization. I was the main system architect for the company migration from Novell Netware over to Microsoft Active Directory. I also served in a key role as a liaison with other accounting/financial departments throughout the corporate structure to provide the right solution with proper integration and support for a world class back office environment.Working through competitive bids with vendors, I developed and enforced the company standards on hardware purchases such as: laptops, desktops, servers and storage for the corporate office.I strove to implement best-of-class industry standards and deployment methods for sustainable long-term scalability throughout the entire organization in areas such as Microsoft Active Directory, Network security, VMware ESX virtualization, Lotus Notes Domino, Microsoft SQL Server, Project Server, Weblogic and other department specific platforms.

I started out working for Flying J immediately from graduating from Utah State University in the Cash Management office. Some of my responsibilities were to work to reduce transaction/banking costs and improve accuracy/efficiency throughout the Cash Management Department. Later my work with Special Projects helped me to see the value of leveraging technology and providing solutions to various departments.

While attending the University full time, I learned to provide outstanding customer service on all banking relationships with customers. I did this by consulting with customers in order to provide the right banking products for their needs.
