Responsible for planning and implementing body assembly systems for the aluminum bodied 2015 F-150 truck, including 4 subassembly and 2 complete body shops.

Led development of global manufacturing plans for future vehicles as well as advancement of globally aligned manufacturing strategies within Body Construction Engineering.

Body Construction Engineering Manager for Ford's Asia/Pacific/Africa operations. Responsible for product/process design compatibility on global vehicle programs, from concept through production launch.

Responsible for the development of the body assembly systems for the 2009 F-150 pickup. This included a budget of $252M with significant amounts of new equipment installed in 5 Assembly and Stamping plants. Up front work included leading product/process compatibility and risk management of several industry first technologies including: laser edge welding, DP780 (ultra high strength) hydroformed steel structural welding and advanced "virtual build" engineering methods. The F-150 was named 2009 Truck of the Year, IIHS Top Safety Pick and a Consumer Reports "Recommended Buy".

Led manufacturing engineering teams in the production launches of the 2003 Lincoln Aviator and 2005 Ford Escape. Notably the Escape was launched in the previously idled Avon Lake (Ohio) assembly plant.

Design and release engineer within Ford's SVT (Special Vehicle Team) engineering group, responsible for the design and production implementation of the body interior/exterior and electrical system components unique to the SVT Focus.

Body Construction Manufacturing Engineer responsible for process design, tool construction and tool implementation in assembly plants. Launched programs including Taurus/Sable and Focus. The Focus program included significant time in western Europe.

As a co-op student, ASC rotated me throughout the Company including minimum 3-month full-time sessions in: Design Studio, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Testing&Validation, CAD, Program Management and Manufacturing.
