CurrentI advise public, private, and tax-exempt employers on all legal aspects of employee benefit plans, including pension plans, 401(k) plans, incentive plans, severance plans, 403(b) plans, health and welfare plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements.I have significant ERISA Title I experience and have counseled plan fiduciaries with respect to investment policies, private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative investments, prohibited transaction issues, investment management agreements and payment of expenses from plan assets.I also frequently advise multinational clients on global employee benefits matters and compliance issues and am a Council Member of the International Bar Association's Global Employment Institute.I also specialize in advising companies and individuals on issues relating to domestic partner benefits and am the author of Domestic Partner Benefits: An Employer's Guide, which is published by Thompson Information Services.
