InfoDevDC was a Meetup group for information developers, technical writers, and other technical communication professionals. InfoDevDC's mission was to grow the technical communication community and encourage the free exchange of information. We also encouraged first time speakers to get themselves out there and share their knowledge with others.As the founder and main organizer, I was responsible for the following things:• Scheduling events, including sourcing speakers and locations• Coordinating joint events with other local technical communication groups• Promoting events using social media and the Meetup site • Assisting co-organizers with scheduling and managing events
