Advising on technology direction and patent assets.

- Co-Founded and still advising Mobile 1st, an Enterprise SaaS product that allows brands to see exactly what mobile users see, quickly identify display issues, monitor metrics by device, and optimize the mobile customer experience- Created SaaS product from inception to production- Leveraged multiple customer experience and analytic libraries including Mixpanel and IntercomWe created an amazing product with an equally amazing team in about 4 months. After version 1 of the product was complete, we iterated with customers and realized they needed a service more than a product to tackle mobile conversion optimization challenges. So I moved on to help jump-start another startup.

- Owned and prioritized the product roadmap- Managed creative, development, devops, customer success and quality assurance groups- Led the complete overhaul of the existing application stack and UI/UX- Took reliability from ~85% to 99.9%+ uptime by implementing best practices- Grew team from 2 to over 18 in less than 6 months with no recruiting or relocation fees- Implemented a marketing engineering tool that lead to a 20x increase in Tier 2 leads- Presented at all board and shareholder meetings as well as multiple conference speaking engagements- Application uses AngularJS, SASS, and D3 heavily, interfacing with REST calls primarily implemented in Groovy- Datastore is a combination of Postgres and Elasticsearch. Made time to participate in all UX and design discussions, code in product hackathons and take on small features and bug fixes- Application stack runs on AWS with automated deployment using Jenkins and Ansible

Served an absolutely talented team of around 40 engineers and UX designers dedicated to providing the best user experience possible while solving problems for our users.

Joined the company (originally named AIS with about 50 people) as a Sr. Software Developer. Continued to grow into an engineering leadership role for our fastest-growing business unit. The company was acquired by Textron, and I remained for a couple of years after the acquisition.

Created, designed and implemented a complete knowledge management web solution from the ground up.
