This effort included working to identify the different radio types, and their impacted components, and then working with the various groups (hardware, firmware, supply chain, and system divisions) across multiple countries to coordinate the necessary changes. - Coordinating certification of CDMA and LTE network management products to deliver on committed customer milestones. This was a high impact near-term customer critical delivery that required replacing resources that abruptly exited the company. It required working with senior resource managers to secure qualified/technical resources, identifying code type, and vob location, understanding the build environment, getting clear customer requirements, and coordinating the shipping and setup of the test platform in order to support the certification team.- Acted as the US point of contact for the China 4G LTE TDD modem physical firmware team to provide 24/7 customer support during China customer trial. This role involved meeting formally three times per week, and up to daily (informally) with other feature team leads during US hours to triage customer issues, engage key US resources, support efforts to reproduce lab/field issues, and troubleshoot. During this time working as a team we were able to successfully pass the customers Acceptance Test Plan in order to move to the next phase of qualified vendor testing. By successfully meeting our customer requirements as Motorola/NSN it allowed Nokia Siemens Networks marketing to claim a larger global LTE trial footprint. Show less

Effort including (but not limited to) activities such as feature review, staff estimation, resource allocation, project tracking, project monitoring, and after-action reviews for both local and remote based teams.- Provided project management and oversight, spanning multiple teams (hardware, digital, firmware, quality, configuration management, systems test, supply chain) and business units, in order to deliver feature content requested by the stakeholders.- Conducted corporate resource management responsibilities such as tracking employee training records, participating in group calibration sessions, administering performance reviews, communicating salary and merit increases, handling disciplinary actions, and ensuring employee recognition and rewards thereby building a coherent and efficient team.- Planned and led the implementation plan for our firmware outsourcing efforts to extend our US engineering team capability and significantly lower our business units labor cost roughly $7.2 million US dollars annually.
