For the last eight years I have played a key role in the growth of Canada’s strongest hearing healthcare provider as Marketing Manager at Connect Hearing. By managing a number of successful marketing initiatives that have helped thousands of Canadians identify their hearing loss and take the first steps towards better hearing. Some of the most exciting campaigns I have worked on while at Connect Hearing have been part of an integrated marketing strategy featuring both traditional and online tactics. It began with a national rebrand that prioritized local market awareness followed by the launch of a national broadcast and direct marketing program to increase demand across all channels. As the media habits of our audience changed, I was there to lead the development of various digital initiatives including our content management, social media and online search platforms.Prior to coming to Connect, I was very fortunate to learn from and collaborate with some very talented and inspiring marketing professionals - people I am now proud to call mentors and friends. If you were to ask a colleague of mine, past or present, what value I bring to the workplace, I believe they would tell you about my ability to build successful programs from start to finish and seamlessly analyze the results to further recommend new and innovative ways to execute. Some of my career highlights include sharing the wonders of outer space at a one of Vancouver’s top tourist and education attractions and traveling the world to promote music, sporting and other entertainment programs. While here at home, I was able to help feature British Columbia as the "Best Place on Earth” and assist with the 2010 Winter Olympic Games campaign.I am excited about the future of integrated marketing and the role traditional and digital media will play together in providing relevant content that will not only encourage action but increase brand loyalty and I can’t wait to see where my adventures take me next.
