About Todd Cowles

I'm energized by connecting people, whether it's in the day-to-day activity of my recruiting business or my fortunate opportunity on the personal side of things to spend time in the non-profit space. I founded my search and recruiting business, Create the Team, in 2015 after working for more than twenty years in the Commercial Building Automation industry. I'm fortunate there to have a ton of old friends and colleagues as my clients, so it's extra rewarding to be able to put great people on their teams. The Stinky Spoke (short for the Stinky Weather Poker Ride) is a charity mountain bike poker run held on what's statistically the most rotten-weather day of the year (right around January 20th). As of the January 2019 event, this has been "handed off" to Redmond Rotary, who is continuing to hold the event, now centered out of Redmond.
