I joined RH Events in 4Q2019 as VP Development with executive responsibility for standing up a new division within the successful events company. It was an easy decision to make because the co-founders of RH Events have deep industry expertise and a proven ability to execute at a consistent high level, plus I’ve always wanted to be involved with them because I find the events business fun and exciting. Regrettably, the great pandemic interrupted our plans to acquire and run a chain of indoor events venues, so I moved from an active executive role with the company to that of an advisory board member. The future is bright for RH Events and we survived the pandemic by adding new capabilities to what we already offered. The pandemic is now in our rear window and we are back to staging large, jumbo and small events that range from casino nights for hundreds of guests to enormous corporate picnics that look a lot like a county fair with games, rides and food for thousands of attendees. CBBC LLC was formed in 2016 to purchase and restore a 65 year old Tennessee company in the live fishing bait business. The previous owners had run the business remotely and spent little on upkeep the ten years preceding our purchase. We spent a lot of time and resources cleaning up the neglected campus, including removal of an amazing quantity of scrap metal - over 20,000 lbs!We were able to bring the company back from the dead and expanded into several new areas of the fishing business including selling fishing tackle, self-transport of baitfish from Arkansas, providing adult catfish to paylakes, and processing bulk nightcrawlers from Canada into finished products of cases of cupped worms for retail sale. The nightcrawlers were provided to other wholesale distributors throughout the southeastern U.S. The results of our efforts are a significant increase in revenues and doubling customer counts prior to selling the operations portion of the business in 2019. In 2022 we wound the company down.

Provided executive strategy consulting for a blockchain-based digital currency solution enabling futures trading between organic farmers and consumers. -Chief Revenue Officer, PAE Solution. Co-founder of a disruptive mobile wallet and permission-based marketing solution. Full funding for the venture was never obtained and the founders moved on. -Chief Strategy Officer, Opes. Strategist and partner for an ACH-based mobile payment solution created to solve the cash only problem in legal marijuana segment. West coast bank partner backed out of the venture after getting too much pressure from the Fed.-VP Alliances, Midax. 12 month engagement that successfully rebranded the company image and message including website, trade show graphics, and marketing materials. In a secondary role, secured the company’s largest loyalty and payment solution sale in the petroleum and convenience store segment and negotiated the company’s first international sale in Switzerland for loyalty and enterprise reporting solution. -Partner, SecureImages. Negotiated sale of the intellectual property for contactless mobile technology invention that enabled secure peer to peer transmission of data without Internet or cellular connectivity.
