Reports: 10.✏ Operated and maintained product-specific units for this top global maker of disk drive suspension assemblies.✏ Worked with computer disk drives which store and retrieve information by using magnetic recording heads to write onto and read from rapidly spinning disks. Suspension assemblies hold the read/write head, allowing it to fly just above the surface of the spinning disk. The suspension assembly must hold the fly-height constant, compensating for microscopic irregularities in the disk’s surface. ✏ Customers included: Western Digital, Seagate, Samsung, Toshiba, Fujitsu and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. Also sold suspension assemblies to SAE.
