I am an experienced technology leader that came up through the ranks of technology consulting. I’ve been a programmer, business analyst, development lead, project manager and executive. I’ve worked with government, education, finance, entertainment, and online companies delivering projects and leading teams. I have led teams large (100+) and small using methodologies from waterfall to agile, managing spend from small projects to projects and team budgets over $10M.I believe that measurement can be used to increase business efficiency, precision, and velocity. I believe that data, especially about people and what they do, is a beautiful and dangerous thing. I’m optimistic enough to believe it can and should be used to change lives for the better. I’m experienced enough to know it must be carefully protected.I care about the people I work for and with. I’m a strong believer in empathy and humor in challenging situations, especially when delivering difficult messages. I build strong teams and like to work for people who do the same. I make the jobs of those I work for easier, and the lives of those that work with and for me challenging, productive and enjoyable.
