Todd is the President, CEO and Board Chair of OfferUp, the largest local mobile marketplace in the US, with a mission to build the simplest and most trustworthy local buying and selling experience. He joined OfferUp in July 2021, bringing over 25 years of experience in leading and scaling global online businesses across various industries.Before joining OfferUp, Todd was the Managing Director (CEO) for Booking.com, North America, where he opened and grew the US market from scratch, expanding the company's presence and revenue across the region. He also played a key role in developing a unified strategic plan for Booking Holdings, working with other brand CEOs at Priceline, Kayak, and OpenTable. Todd has a strong background in leadership, strategy, online marketing, technology and customer relationship management, having worked at Microsoft for 14 years in various leadership positions, including Vice President and COO of the Consumer and Online Division. He also led the Internet Business Unit at WRQ, a global software and consulting firm.Todd holds two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in aerospace engineering and the other in business administration, as well as a Master of Public Administration degree. He also completed graduate programs in Business and Strategy from Stanford University and The University of Washington. Todd is passionate about supporting the Seattle start-up community, serving on the Board of Directors for Better Collective (STO: BETCO), a leader in online gaming, and being a Limited Partner in Ascend Venture Capital, a pre-seed fund investing in SaaS, ML/AI, data, and e-commerce software startups. He also mentors MBA students at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business and coaches new entrepreneurs at rapid-growth companies.
