-Consistent Charge Nurse, overseeing all RN staff in organizing and directing care of postoperative patients.-Direct patient care of postoperative patients of all age groups and acuity levels.-Worked closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists in management and care of postoperative patients including cardio-thoracic, bariatric, nephrology, urology, orthopedics, gynecological, neurovascular, and general surgery patients.-Preceptor to new staff during orientation and training to unit.-Unit preceptor to student nurses during their rotations.-Quality assurance for PACU which included auditing of charts and preparing monthly reports of physicians and PACU staff.

-Direct patient care in Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care, and Intensive Care Nursery.-Cross-trained to Medical-Surgical Unit, Surgical Unit, Oncology Unit, Rehabilitative Unit, and Orthopaedics-Neurovascular Unit.

-Initially responsible for direct patient care on Medical-Surgical Resource Team.-From 1993-1997, performed direct patient care in Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care, and Intensive Care Nursery, continuing to work on Medical-Surgical Units as needed.
