•Hires, trains, counsels, disciplines and terminates dining room personnel.•Prepares all schedules for dining room personnel.•Conduct training, quality assurance audits, ensure proper practice for handling and storing of food.•Prepare and lead monthly in-service training to all dining room personnel.•Assign stations and daily duties to each staff member before shift.•Receive and observe quality and temperature of food delivery.•Addresses and handles complaints and suggestions from residents.•Supervises cleanliness of facility with focus on dining room and all food areas.•Maintain record of resident checks, guest meals and private dining requests.•Responsible for setup and breakdown of special events, action stations, and theme buffets.•Oversee quality of food and plating for all residents.•Take inventory, generate orders and maintain par levels for dining linens, china, glass and silver.•Maintain healthy relationships with all outside vendors and work closely to assure quality of alldeliveries.
