His previous work life included Managing Director of RDA Corporation’s southeast regional office, and Software Manager for the Naval Research Lab's Special Projects group of the Tactical Electronic Warfare division in Washington, D.C., where he led the software design of cutting edge military radar receiver systems. Before that, Todd worked in experimental physics at the University of Maryland's Charged Particle Beam Lab, publishing scientific papers in such journals as the Review of Scientific Instruments and the Bulletin of American Physics. An aviation enthusiast and pilot for over 30 years, Todd enjoys flying many different types of aircraft, including gliders, helicopters, and hang gliders. He is building a WW1 fighter airplane in his basement.
