Besides being a senior engineer assigned to many custom custom projects, I was responsible for major architectural renovations to New Millennium's signature product, Geneses. Genesis is a FileMaker based business management platform. It including many advanced features such as a full general ledger accounting system.I was also responsible for or had input into various other FileMaker based products, from plugins to a FileMaker Server 5.5 appliance based on Red Hat Linux.While at New Millenium, I began to appear as a speaker at the FileMaker Developers conference, and at Macworld in the US and once in the UK. I also helped develop New Millennium's migration to FileMaker 7 training class, and was responsible for delivering that class to small and medium sized groups around the country and in the United Kingdom.

I Conducted basic research under the direction of two principle investigators, Michael Caperon, PHD, and Dr David Gutmann, PHD MD. Contributed as a co-author to over two dozen papers published in peer reviewed scientific journals. Managed the lab supplies and resources. Built and maintained databases responsible for organizing critical research data.Sometime around 1992 or 93 I encountered FileMaker Pro. By 1994, I was running most of the lab on FileMaker Pro databases. In 1997, I left academia, to pursue a career in computer technology.
