IT Support Specialist/Network and Systems Administrator/Technology Manager- Provide all forms of technology support and decisions to both to end users, management, internal IT staff, and our vendors with a strong concentration on providing a high level of customer service- Implement technologies that support the company’s growth from 45 employees to over 320 in 7 domestic sererless branch locations including supporting over 40 employees at offshore locations on a 24x7 basis- Manage a team of 5 infrastructure, 8 developers, 6 business analysts, and 2 business intelligence while fostering team communication and collaboration via services including Trello, Slack, Spiceworks and TFS- Palo Alto Networks firewall implementation including VPN to all branch locations through load balanced GRE tunnels provided by Ecessa load balancing network equipment over a blend of internet providers- “Serverless” remote/branch offices to ease administration- Full remote assistance, equipment management and administration in branch offices- Implemented low latency national network utilizing Tier-1 carriers with a mix of MPLS and VPN technologies via load balancing hardware creating a resilient backbone to ensure maximum possible uptime- Worked closely with various consulting partners for many projects including Exchange Server upgrades and replacement, extensive network rebuilds, firewall configuration, security implementation, intrusion testing and remediation and server environment refreshes- Implemented hardware storage replication for off-site backup and semi-automated disaster recovery via VMware SRM- Secure implementation of internet-facing web services and sites utilizing various network zones and security techniques including DMZ and Next Generation Firewalls- Citrix XenApp implementation and complete branch office utilization- Technology representation on corporate acquisition team, managed 20+ acquisitions of other companies including merging of technology systems
