I started my HR career at Chrysler Corporation and then moved to the Burger King brand (corporate and franchise). Taking 20 years of HR experience and now blending that with operations, I have found a passion for operations management. In my new role as the General Manager, I am taking HR practices and implementing them with operations to improve gross income and net profit of three unique businesses.

I am responsible for business operations at White River Paintball, White River Zipline and Indy Scream Park. At each of our businesses, we strive to ensure our customers have so much fun, they want to come back again and again with friends.White River Paintball consists of 12 outdoor fields and 1 indoor field (December - March) plus a pro shop for your paintball equipment needs. White River Ziplines has over a mile of zip lines connecting 10 towers and 3 sky bridges. The last leg of the zip line course, consists of 2 dualing zip lines just shy of 1,000' so you can race someone else in your party. Coming this spring/summer will be our newest attraction, the MEGA DROP FREE FALL.Indy Scream Park is rated as Indiana's Scariest Haunted House with 5 attractions plus our scary midway. Two of our attractions are interactive if you think you can handle being scared that much. As the general manager, I am responsible for all aspects of the facility which include 3 managers who directly report to me. (VP of Attractions, VP of Operations, and Human Resources).

Managed all corporate Human Resources activities in Indiana and Kentucky market. (92 restaurants) Launched a program to electronically track employee development, succession planning, and performance appraisals. – Program was rolled out to all other corporate HR managers as well. Developed an internal investigation database for tracking Human Resources investigations which were conducted in the market. The access database was rolled out to all other corporate HR managers and was benchmarked in the company as a best practice. Internal investigations ranging from theft, sexual harassment, EEO complaints, to criminal activity. I was responsible to respond to all internal tips phoned in to the compliance hotline. Manage affirmative action program for compliance. Interact with senior leadership (vice president of company operations) down to team members. Responsible for communicating with all levels of employees in the field. Approximately 3,000 employees. Oversee I-9 compliance and investigate identity issues with employees applying for positions at BKC. -

Kokomo was a pilot location for this corporate program.
