About Todd Harris

My initiation into serious environmental issues started nearly 10 years ago when I produced the short documentary "​ Site 41: A Quarter Century Fight To Preserve Clean Water"​ , a story about the heroic and successful efforts of a diverse community of local residents, which included farmers, First Nation peoples, local businesses, and landowners to come together to stop the construction of a landfill site over the Alliston Aquifer, where it has been confirmed that the ground water is some of the purest water on the planet.I have been increasingly aware of the need to protect the environment - and to find a way to continue my professional contribution to protecting the earth.As part of my commitment, I founded the company, Green Energy Ontario. which offers environmentally-conscious energy solutions by providing three green energy technologies - solar, geothermal, biomass and air-source heat pumps and energy audits, building condition assessments and reserve fund study services- to housing coops in the GTA and the agricultural sector in Southern Ontario. Green Energy Ontario seeks to build awareness of these green energy technologies and accompanying energy saving services to housing coops in the GTA and the agricultural sector in Southern Ontario.
