Responsible for supporting the development and customer engagements of LinkedIn's deployed base of Couchbase clusters. Previously supported the LinkedIn-developed next-generation distributed datastore, Espresso. I work closely with the frontend/middle-tier services that utilize CB, integrating and deploying new clusters using the internal tools designed to manage the large scale and high concurrency application deployment systems. I also support the peripheral integrations that help make Couchbase usable by a large number of LI services.Primary activities include 24/7 support during on-call rotations as well as the standard litany of DevOps tasks, from automating cluster builds to designing and developing tools to manage the cluster as a whole and the individual datastores across the Couchbase nodes. This includes cluster recovery, stability monitoring, consistency analysis, and disaster recovery planning and implementation.
