What better way to combine my passionate desire to understand the world around me, my entrepreneurial spirit, and creativity than to become a business journalist for leading publications such as Forbes Magazine, Businessweek, and The Wall Street Journal. Then I spotted the trend that companies would need to innovate as a way to survive. What's the bridge between journalism and innovation? Innovation starts with a story and I am a story creator and teller. I use the same human-centered skill to understand my reader and my end-user. These have been valuable skills while working as a team member on the ground floor of building and communication the Corporate Innovation program to support digital transformation at Firmenich, a leading global flavor and fragrance company. Through our Innovation Learning Hub, we have trained nearly 1,000 people and facilitate more than 100 innovation workshops.
