Innovative and efficient aren't often used together, but these words describe my core strengths. In my role as Chief Innovation Officer, I focus on "contract-adjacent" innovation, leading to quick victories (or fast failures) with minimal investment. With a comprehensive understanding of foundational and emerging technologies, my efficient innovation has supported numerous successes, whether winning new business, improving current mission execution, or preparing our workforce for future challenges. These skills have uncomplicated the hardest part of any Innovation Initiative: follow-through. Many great programs start, only to fizzle. I have a proven track record of refining multi-year initiatives, building on success while learning from oversights. This approach has enabled additional risk taking from a secure foundation, developing a culture of efficient innovation at GCI.
