Program Manager responsible for securing, executing and ensuring proper delivery of radio equipment under multi-million dollar government contracts.• Develop proposal responses including both technical and financial details to US Department of Defense (DOD) requests for secure tactical communication radios and supporting equipment. •Leading new product development programs to meet DOD requests for enhanced communication devices that deliver new tactical capabilities for military personnel.

• Led multiple 30+ member multi-discipline teams to drive the ramp-up, qualification and delivery of Complementary Metal–Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors. Actively managing risk versus schedule, resource allocation, overall program communications and being the primary interface between management and the technical teams. • Introduced the first ever 1.4 um pixel 5 mega-pixel CMOS image sensor for a cell-phone camera. • Commercialized first Kodak CMOS image sensor used in a Kodak digital still camera, delivering over 500,000 units over a 5 month period.• Led technical integration interactions with external international partners. Resolved all technical issues between Asian foundry and packaging suppliers and US and European module makers.• Had direct supervisory responsibilities for small group of product engineers who drove the technical design improvements and CMOS process refinements during commercialization process.

• Led multi-discipline team to develop new research projects that supported Kodak’s CMOS sensor development. Evaluated, initiated and ran joint projects with external companies and universities.• Led research project to develop a 3-D integrated CMOS sensor by connecting stacked wafers using electrical interconnects. Work resulted in coauthoring four patent applications.•Received Kodak’s Lean practitioner certification. Led multiple Kaizen events to reduce waste and streamline processes. Created KOS classes that were required training for all of R&D.

• Led program that recruited, hired and trained new scientists & engineers for R&D community.• Directly supervised and mentored 20-25 new-hires. Identified, negotiated and secured rotational assignments for new-hires with R&D and business unit directors.• Overhauled and continuously updated over 500 hours of in-classroom training curriculum. Managed over 40+ internal and external content expert instructors to deliver training.• Set program strategy, implemented project vision and managed program budget (> $2Mil).

• Directed group of ~10 engineers and technicians responsible for simulations, print and image quality target generation for R&D. Ran multiple multi-discipline project teams which delivered new in-camera algorithms and improved color paper simulations accuracy saving >$500K in experimental costs.• Led multiple improvement initiatives within the division including safety, process verification, asset inventory and reduction, equipment rationalization and > $1M annual capital budget planning.• Ranked in top 20% of all Leaders in company’s 2003 Frontline Leadership Assessment.• Acquired Management Black Belt certification in 2002.

• Developed new internal drying modeling software program that was used 3,500+ times a month by over 120 worldwide users (US, China, Europe & Australia). Modeling saved > $100K/month in experiment costs. Project won company’s 2000 Software Excellence Award.• Provided worldwide (US & Europe) coating and drying design-for-manufacturing (DFM) support for multiple new film products – including color negative, motion picture and health imaging films.• Worldwide training coordinator and mentor for over 30 coating and drying engineers.

Supervised and performed all chemical & radiological controls onboard a nuclear powered submarine. Directed mechanical operators as Engine Room Supervisor.Obtained First Class Petty Officer (E-6) grade.
