This includes evaluation, review, technical integration partnerships, and creation/facilitation of professional development. I am continuing to develop my leadership experience as head of our Product Team, ensuring open communication and responsiveness to student and teacher needs.

As part of the Northshore School District's iTech team, I provide faculty and staff with the necessary services, systems, devices, and trainings in order to improve teaching, research, scholarship, and learning. I collaborate with faculty to find innovative, technological solutions which engage students and expand their scope of learning. Additionally, I work with vendors and representatives from all over the instructional technology field to help guide product development and successful integration with modern learning environments.

I co-teach, co-plan, and advise teachers/students/administration in an urban high school setting. This includes managing online learning environments and helping to facilitate hybrid asynchronous learning environments at a large public high school.Additionally, I work on the team that spearheaded the transition to a mobile device 1:1 initiative from traditional laptops. I collaborated with all levels of the district, as well as multiple members of the vendor team, to ensure effective implementation and integration of the new devices.In addition to hardware, much of my work in schools has been as a professional development developer and facilitator. This past school year, my team developed a full professional learning plan around best practices in education through instructional technology. I have also spent several years on the school’s Professional Learning Committee, and am a facilitator of the Teacher Leadership Project (TLP). This year-long cohort helps teachers develops skills connected to project-based learning, instructional technology, and teacher leadership.

I worked as a 10th grade English teacher in Honors, Standard, and Co-Taught/Inclusion classrooms.I also spearheaded an oral history project/class at the school called Alexandria Speaks, as well as teaching Creative Writing.

Worked one-on-one with students to successfully navigate and complete online course work, as well as acted as a communication liaison between them and their online teachers when necessary.
