As a child, I have always been interested in applying mathematical concepts to solve real-world problems. Due to this passion, I decided to pursue further education in Finance and Actuarial Sciences, which has enabled me to acquire the tools to enhance my mathematical knowledge within the industry of finance. As an undergraduate, I was always interested in determining the intrinsic value of stocks. My curiosity led me to the world of valuation, where mathematical theory and real-world applications coincide harmoniously.A brief summary of my professional experience, which spans roughly a decade, is as follows:•I have acted as a lead or supporting appraiser in over a thousand business valuation engagements for several purposes, including Mergers & Acquisitions, Gift & Estate, ESOP, and Financial Reporting.•I have actively managed multiple teams of several analysts to oversee quality control and correct use of technical applications in accordance with USPAP, and have worked cross-functionally throughout several departments to ensure company-wide success. These efforts helped facilitate a private equity exit to a nationally-recognized appraisal firm.•I have presented to various bank clients and attended several industry conferences to maintain client relations and network with industry professionals.My technical skills include the application of valuation approaches (Income, Market, and Cost), the application of valuation discounts using both qualitative and quantitative methods, three-statement modeling, and cross-functional management.
