Inclusive in this definition are the business planning, strategic alliances, and product launch support for multiple sales & marketing organizations. This team systematically balances portfolio strategy & management, develops & constructs key industry alliances, launches new product portfolios, trains field sales, sales engineers and channel organizations, and supports customer responses (RFPs) on a global scale.I was selected to operate as a lead member in the development of global strategy, execution plans, and market messages for our flagship UC&C enterprise software portfolio known as UNIVERGE 3C. Results included a resurgence of NEC as a major industry player & thought leader with top scoring product reviews and strategy and product positioning considered by major industry analysts as the leading thinking. Go to market execution experience includes enterprise on-premises and SaaS models.In the past two years we introduced significant new functionality into our portfolio, where I utilized networking & business development experience to create unique technology partnerships that bring new intellectual property into the company and enable a fast path to market. My team led the launch activities around this portfolio. I am currently leading a new alliance initiative to evolve our software portfolio with powerful business social tools that further enable rich collaboration among the highly social and mobile enterprises.Today I represent a broad NEC portfolio including data center technologies for high availability and virtualization management, software defined networking, unified communications & collaboration, and more. Representing this portfolio is our "Smart Enterprise" strategy that addresses the emerging demands for converged IT infrastructure.

Extended our Total Control technology into nascent markets, including the first 2G & 3G mobile cellular Internet data infrastructure utilized by the largest wireless carriers in the world, and a Class 4 carrier-grade VoIP system deployed across hundreds of cities worldwide.Directed multiple global strategic alliances and partnerships, including Motorola, Lucent, Nortel, Alcatel, Hitachi (Japan), Siemens (Europe), Eastcom (China), and Huawei (China).Introduced customer proposals response team expanding RFP/RFI responses ten-fold and significantly reducing response times, an Applications Engineering team that delivered targeted fast response customer trials directly influencing the RFP content and customer purchase decisions.

Defined, developed and launched industry leading Total Control platform and services for Internet Service Provider (ISP) market, driving annual revenue to over $350M, a 20-fold increase.
