Honoured by my peers, I was named Canada’s 2022 Chamber Executive of the Year. Active in a number of economic development collaborations, I am a founding member of the Canadian Global Cities Council and Canada’s Innovation Corridor Business Council. I currently serve as Vice-chair of the World Chambers Federation of the International Chamber of Commerce. During this time, our region saw a 27% increase in employment and 16% increase in employment income. Those working on these initiatives have helped position Waterloo Region as one of Canada’s most innovative and entrepreneurial economies.
