** Researched control characteristics of a distributed actuation system inspired by NASA’s morphing wing project utilizing 12 small control surfaces on each wing of a blended-wing-body UAV. -- Participated in 6 weeks of intensive wind-tunnel testing in the 12-foot subsonic tunnel at the NASA Langley Research Center. ** Analyzed test results and used the test data to develop a method to predict the control authorities for any conceivable array configuration of the 12 control surfaces.** Assisted in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of pressure measurement devices, wind-tunnel mounting system, and control surface servos.
