As the Chief Growth Officer and Founder of EarthOptics, I lead the vision and execution of a company that offers farmers a new data point and view of their soil that is actionable, different, and in real time. With over 25 years of experience in the agriculture industry, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that farmers face, and I am passionate about providing them with innovative solutions that can enhance their productivity and profitability.In addition to my role at EarthOptics, I also serve as the CEO of the Independent Professional Seed Association, a trade association that represents 220 member companies in the seed sector. I am responsible for the P&L and day-to-day operations of the association, as well as developing and implementing a strategic vision that includes business building services, volume discount programs, and high quality annual conference agendas. Under my leadership, the association has tripled its funding for scholarship programs, initiated market development opportunities, streamlined its decision process, and increased its revenue by 200% in 2017. I am also the owner and founder of South by Northwest Hospitality, a group that owns and operates four iconic and original restaurant brands in the Northwest Arkansas area, generating $8 million in annual revenue and employing 125 staff members. I pride myself on being a leader in the independent hospitality space and an employee-focused innovator in benefits for hospitality staff members.
