He has over 20 years of experience in the legal and data privacy fields, and he holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) credentials from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.Todd's core competencies include developing and implementing privacy risk management and compliance frameworks, leading international data protection initiatives, performing privacy impact assessments, advising teams on data privacy and protection laws, providing training on data privacy and data protection best practices, and performing due diligence on corporate privacy programs. He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, building trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Todd's mission is to translate data privacy laws into sound data privacy practices that enable clients to achieve their business goals while protecting their data assets and reputation. Todd's field of expertise is privacy law, with a focus on health data, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. He has a strong background in microbiology, having earned an M.S. from the University of Maryland and a B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University. He also received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law.Todd is passionate about data privacy and its impact on society, and he is constantly learning and updating his skills and knowledge. He is a frequent speaker and writer on data privacy topics, and he is an active member of several professional associations and communities. Outside of work, Todd enjoys road cycling, saltwater aquariums, tennis, and spending time with his family and friends.
