- Lead cross-functional efforts to strategically plan, stage, and deliver new product platforms and software functionality in order to unblock strategic business directives of migrating customers to next generation product lines.- Orchestrate plans across multiple teams to adapt to shifting priorities, dependencies, and external team limitations, ensuring timely delivery of key release milestones- Drive collaborative development and delivery process changes to align with the needs of external business stakeholders, enhancing predictability of deliverables and improving alignment and expectations across interdisciplinary teams (Sales / Ops / Docs / Eng).- Collaborate with globally distributed management stakeholders and external software teams to plan, stage, and build a unified SaaS platform, streamlining hardware products and existing software solutions.

- Design, develop, and test efficient industrial-grade production software in C for electrical switchgear embedded systems with limited computing resources.- Extensively debug several layers of embedded software – including public and proprietary communication protocols (SCADA, TCP/IP, and others) as well as embedded applications (application to driver-level) using gdb, wireshark, and other tools.- Produce and revise technical feature specifications, followed by software implementation for these new features in C. Continuously audit existing internal specifications against identified weaknesses as well as new customer demands.- Provide continuous developer support for internally and externally identified bugs and provide technical input to prioritize fixes against pre-existing release schedules.- Multi-task several development pipelines to hit key milestones and maintain critical progress on multiple fronts.- Work with senior engineers as well as project managers and directors to drive next-generation software support on future hardware implementations and meet critical deadlines for public grant awards.- Submit and perform thorough peer code-reviews to maintain a high quality of code standard.- Engage in an effective level of communication at the team, department, and interdepartmental level to maintain an effective and productive work environment.

- Create new peripheral testing plans and lead cross-functional reviews between validation, verification, and applications engineering teams.- Develop and document test code for wide variety of both analog and digital 32-bit microcontroller peripherals using event-driven embedded software structures (interrupts, I/O, timers) in addition to leading code reviews upon development completion.- Integrate and adapt existing unit tests for new products and hardware setups as needed, while maintaining test coverage and improving test quality and efficiency.- Debug silicon behavior and test code using advanced test equipment (Oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc) to root-cause issues and communicate results across teams as necessary.- Characterize silicon performance across the production process in addition to planning and developing automated scripts to perform effective data analysis.- Communicate regularly with local and remote teams (India) by assisting with software and hardware debug, providing internal report feedback, and coordinating project schedules.- Construct test reports, write data analysis scripts, and present interpretation of test results to cross-divisional team of principal level engineers and assert recommendation action based on findings.
