My name is Todd James, I am currently employed with the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage as a Heritage Support Officer. My role is within the Heritage Operations team which has allowed me to develop my understanding of Aboriginal Heritage within Western Australia as well as public sector administration and management.The skills I have developed within my current position include: communication, liaising skills, GIS capture and QA, spatial data analysis, working within a team environment, project work and management, database management and a working knowledge of Aboriginal Heritage operations within WA.I possess a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Marine Science and Conservation and Wildlife Biology at Murdoch University. I hope to utilise this degree and my experience to manage the environment from a legislative perspective. I have a passion for the Western Australian environment, particularly within marine and freshwater ecosystems.
