Equipment & Studio ManagerThe Ohio State University College Of Arts And Sciences Jan 2022 - Feb 2023Columbus, Ohio, UsI was responsible for the distribution, collection, maintenance, and tracking of all film and video production equipment (cameras, lenses, lights, microphones, tripods, light meters etc.) used by the Department of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts that supports undergraduate and graduate students and curriculum which spans the Theatre, Film Studies and Moving Image Production (MIP) majors and minors. I worked directly with faculty members and students to provide best in class equipment. I managed the equipment cage and student checkout systems housed in the Drake Performance and Event Center and Hagerty Hall and instructed students in the proper use and care of equipment. I also consulted and advised the university on best practices in studio management, logistics, supply management, and consumables. Additionally, I supervised work study student assistants to me and coordinated their work schedules. I served as the staff consultant for the video production facility needs in preparation for the move to the Arts District, working closely with the chair of the Theatre, Film, and Media Arts and MIP faculty, to oversee the outfitting of the new sound stage and studio. The department transitioned to the new facilities in May 2023 with students beginning courses in the Fall semester 2023. -
