I did meet and greets as many characters with children who were visiting the parks through the organization and absolutely loved the experience of putting a smile on a wish child's face. A Make-A-Wish Wish Granting Volunteer works with wish children and their families to help make wishes come true. This involves conducting an initial interview with the family to determine the child’s wish, working with Make-A-Wish® staff to help fulfill the wish, keeping the child and family updated throughout the process, delivering the wish approval and throwing a wish party for the child prior to going on their wish. Wish Granting Volunteers are the direct point of contact with the wish family, and most importantly, we keep the child excited about the wish prior to its granting! -
