Todd Peltzer, P.E., is a seasoned professional with over four decades of combined experience in the Government and private sectors. As an Engineering Duty Officer and Salvage Officer in the Navy, he developed expertise in project management, ship repair and construction techniques, design and engineering, ship salvage and towing, and deep-sea diving.Retiring as a Commander, he moved to the private sector where he built on his Navy experience to create and lead inter-disciplinary, multi-functional, cross-cultural, and multi-organizational teams of geographically dispersed scientists, engineers, and project managers that solved complex engineering problems to meet challenging customer requirements. His ability to effectively assess and decompose system requirements led to highly competitive, successful proposals; his expertise interpreting corporate vision and strategy, translating objectives into actionable plans, and providing decisive leadership to teams was instrumental in the success of these R&D projects. He is an Acquisition Professional with Level III certification in Program Management and in Systems Planning RD&E. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, and he is a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, the American Society of Naval Engineers, and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He has written, published, and presented extensively throughout his career.Todd holds a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, an MS in Mechanical Engineering, and the degree of Naval Engineer from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
