I am a Shareholder and a member of Bacon Wilson Law Firm's estate planning & elder, real estate & business and corporate departments. I handle all aspects of estate planning, all types of commercial and residential closings for buyers, sellers and lenders, and general business matters.My primary focus is in the area of estate planning & elder. As the baby boomers age, there is an ever-increaseing need for people to protect their assets against a nursing home stay. I can help you develop a plan that assures a smooth transition of your assets to the next generation regardless of whether you become institutionalized someday.I also help people in their 30s and 40s put their affairs in order so they have the peace of mind that their spouse, kids and pets will be cared for if something tragic happens.I believe that a successful law practice is best built on an understanding of the practical aspects of the transactions themselves, not just the laws governing them. My business education and corporate consulting background enhance my ability to appreciate and comprehend the complex legal issues that face indivuduals as well as local and public companies. In addition, being born and raised in the greater Springfield area, I fully appreciate the challenges faced by area residents and businesses.
