This enables our midstream customers to operate production wells without any methane emissions. Utilizing a small portion of the methane captured we generate the thermoelectric energy power necessary to operate the well pad. Field trials completed in 2022 and production rollout started in 2023.

Secure platform for FPGA compute and networking.

Developed an in memory currency and data exchange platform based largely on FPGA technology. We achieved a 10 microsecond transaction time down from 250 milliseconds by removing the operating system and CPU. Biggest lesson learned > creating a marketplace is a huge lift and requires significant capital. You must be able focus on selling to just one target customer profile. In our case we spent money growing our user base while we sold to brands, merchants, financial networks and publishers. The result was all of our early customers and potential partners were completely amazed at the speed of our transaction time and wanted to license the technology. This was the catalyst for a significant pivot to DirectStream.

This was executed through a teaching hospital model where leading was done by example. Championed a global initiative for common application development tools, processes and re-use that included staged architecture and risk management process based on project size, complexity, and technologies.

Delivered the company’s vision of how Microsoft’s .NET technologies could be implemented with customers and executing through consultant training and customer engagement; co-led an agreement and technology strategy between Compaq and Microsoft that led to development of a global joint initiative designed to drive $1 billion in incremental revenue for the two firms.

As Rainier’s leading ‘Rainmaker’ for large enterprise solutions and product development work inside Microsoft, established Rainier Technology’s “Pioneer” status as a leading innovator on Microsoft technology and secured a Microsoft investment in the firm. Through establishing a highly productive technology culture with growth to 250+ consultants in five offices, co-led a successful acquisition by Compaq Computer Corporation.
