Founded by Rabbi Sara Luria, Beloved is a national network created to inspire, support, and nourish spiritual leaders who are building spaces of sacred belonging.Beloved spiritual leaders, inspired by the ancient Jewish wisdom of communal life at a more intimate scale, such as the minyan and the dinner table, build spaces of sacred belonging where people go to be seen, nourished, inspired, connected, loved, and not alone. These leaders, who span denomination, location, and leadership style, are creating communities where clergy can be clergy: gathering and guiding adults and/or families on their Jewish journeys through our complex world with personal attention and care.In my role, I assist the founder in determining the long-term strategy of the organization, handle all operations, and provide direct operational support to approx. 12 member communities in the areas of finance, budgeting, use of SAAS platforms, governance, human resources and community building.

Judaism Unbound is a digitally driven, radically open center for education serving as a catalyst for an entirely new era of Judaism. It empowers regular Jews who are disenchanted with or disconnected from mainstream Judaism to develop new ways of living Jewishly. Its projects include the Judaism Unbound podcast and the UnYeshiva, which offers Our learning programs encourage deep exploration of 3,000 years of Jewish tradition and support the creative experimentation necessary to shape a compelling and sustainable Jewish future.I am in charge of all operations and advise the founder on program development, partnerships and all other strategic matters.

Work closely with Executive Director in all aspects of finance and accounting for Lab/Shul, an everybody-friendly, artist-driven, God-optional, experimental community for sacred Jewish gatherings based in NYC and reaching the world.

Learner-Centered Collaborative is a non-profit organization which provides a variety of consulting services to K-12 schools, school districts and state educational agencies. LCC partners with educators to define whole-learner outcomes, design meaningful learning experiences, and create the enabling conditions for their unique journey to inclusive and equitable learner-centered education.As a one-man legal department, I was responsible for all legal matters for the organization. I also advised senior leadership on organizational strategy, particularly in the areas of partnership and collaboration.

Lead all legal matters for world’s leading manufacturer of concert pianos and other musical instruments during maternity leave of company’s permanent GC. Responsibilities include negotiation of variety of corporate and commercial transactions, corporate governance/Board matters for parent company and all subsidiaries, litigation management, trademark and copyright enforcement, regulatory/policy and all human resources issues.

Served as sole lawyer for start-up data analytics/advertising optimization and targeting company owned by Dolan Family Ventures and Charter Communications. Handled all legal matters for the company, including in a wide variety of data and technology matters, contracts, information security/data privacy, regulatory/policy and human resources issues. Also served in corporate development role, assisting in evaluation of negotiation of strategic partnership opportunities.

● Led diligence, negotiation, documentation and consummation of all significant mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic corporate transactions, including $10B sale of Cablevision to Altice, $1.4B acquisition of Bresnan cable systems and spin-off of AMC Networks from Cablevision.● Negotiated and drafted strategic, complex commercial transactions, such as various agreements for launch of new Freewheel WiFi product and agreement with NJ Transit to provide WiFi services in trains and stations. Assist government affairs group in handling regulatory matters related to such transactions.● Negotiated and documented employment and severance agreements with members of senior management.● Prepared legal documentation with respect to executive compensation matters for approval by Compensation Committee.● Assisted litigation attorneys in litigation matters related to above areas of responsibility.● Managed in-house attorneys responsible for employee benefits and real estate.
