I co-founded Hemp For Victory, a 501c3 non-profit, along with fellow veterans who recognized the potential for cannabis and hemp to positively affect the lives of veterans and the military. It is our goal to start and continue conversations that discuss the opportunity presented by the re-legalization of cannabis and hemp. We seek to educate and inform senior military leaders and the veteran community about the potential of the cannabis plant to heal our people and our planet.We discuss everything from industrial hemp and how it can be the backbone of postconflict reconstruction and development, all the way to the medical and adult use of cannabis. We are versed in the military history of cannabis and hemp and seek to share insights on how this plant can be a major force multiplier and effective tool within our military.The cannabis plant is a source of food, fuel, fiber, building material, and medicine that we are only now beginning to tap into in a meaningful way. We have created a platform to host important conversations and we have assembled an impressive list of subject matter experts spanning from Kyiv to California. As the first CEO of Harvest 360 I provided leadership, global vision, and strategic direction to a multi-disciplinary team of business experts, cannabis professionals and scientists who are focused on unpacking all that the plant has to offer. Harvest was acquired by Blue Diamond in 2019, and I am now focused on my role as a member of the Board of Directors for the public company.

I am providing insight and guidance to the Kansas Cannabis Coalition in an effort to bring access to medical cannabis to the people of the Sunflower State, especially the veterans who are represented there. Ft. Riley, Kansas was my first duty station as a young lieutenant in 1996 and Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas was my last duty station where I served as an instructor at the Command and Generals Staff Officers Course (CGSOC) when I retired in 2018. It pains me to think that I have the ability to access the world's safest and most effective medicine from my position in Missouri, yet veterans who are just on the other side of the Missouri River in Kansas are considered criminals, at great risk of losing the freedom they signed up to protect if they use cannabis. It is time for a change of legislation in the Sunflower State, and it is through the Kansas Cannabis Coalition that I intend to direct the veteran voice into the conversations being held in Topeka. The first live cannabis plant I ever saw was in the middle of the training area in Ft. Riley, Kansas in 1996. My tank platoon, comprised of four M1A1 Tanks establish an assembly area in the middle of the night. When the sun began to peak out at 0530 hrs, we began to recognize that we had hidden ourselves well in the middle of a field of feral hemp. Little did I know at the time that these were likely the offspring of the earliest settlers and farmers in that region. I'm committed to bringing Kansas into the future where medical cannabis is widely available and can be a contributor to the Kansas and National economies.I am keenly aware of Kansas being where fellow West Point graduate, President Eisenhower was born and raised. I do not take this fact lightly, and commit to honoring all that I stand for in the representation of veterans and the common history we maintain as West Point graduates and military leaders.

As a member of the Board, I provide leadership and strategic vision to our executive team. I work to ensure all of our activities align with our values and strategic objectives. We are committed to providing leadership contributing to the development of the emerging cannabis industry.

As part of the Board of Advisors for MoCannTrade's Manufacturing and Testing Committee, I provide expert advice on policy, testing, and operations as it pertains to these fields. In all instances, we focus on the safety, efficacy, predictability, and access patients will have to medical cannabis to support the Missouri Medical Marijuana Program.

Proudly providing strategic advice to Green.org in all aspects of the cannabis and hemp industries. The cannabis and hemp industries are first and foremost part of the health and wellness industry. We feel very fortunate at Harvest 360 to assist Green.org as they create sustainable solutions to global problems. We currently feel a great sense of purpose as we assist Green.org coalesce leadership and resources directed at addressing the global corona virus pandemic and help prepare to defend against whatever may follow. Our main contributions include advice on all aspects of the cannabis industry and provide connectivity to leaders in the space. We believe cannabis and hemp are the industries that are poised to be part of the solution to defeat corona virus. We aid in connectivity with Transportation, Lab Testing, Telemedicine, Medical Treatments, Public Safety, R&D, and Veteran Workforce Development. Additionally, we provide connectivity globally, with a focus on Europe, to others in the Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief spheres, as well as local and national level officials.

As an instructor in the Department of Joint, Interagency, and Multinational Operations at the Command and General Staff College, I provide leadership and instruction for Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Interagency, and International Military Students using the adult learning model. I provide them with skills for critical thinking and give focused, professional development on core subjects including strategic and operational planning for Intermediate Level Education. I evaluate their written and oral presentations from this stage-setting instruction to develop field-grade officers (mid-level leaders) and ensure they have the skills required for today's complex operational environment. I provide specialized instruction during the Advanced Operations and Warfighting Course, the electives, Current Strategic Concepts, and Understanding Terrorism.

As the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché to Slovenia, I served as the direct representative of the Secretary of Defense, the Commander of U.S. European Command (EUCOM), and the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. I was the senior military advisor to the U.S. Ambassador on all military affairs. It was my mandate to provide timely and accurate information to policy makers allowing senior U.S. officials to make informed decisions. I coordinated and implemented U.S. State Department and Department of Defense foreign policy objectives to maximize the impact of U.S. engagement activities while ensuring prudent use of limited funds. I managed the full spectrum of U.S. Defense Attaché and Office of Defense Cooperation operations to include personnel, administration, finance, logistics, and communications. I managed the EUCOM engagement program with Slovenia by communicating vital political, military, and economic information used to formulate U.S. national security policy and preserve U.S. security interests. I assisted in the preparation of Slovenian forces to deploy in support of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) operations in Afghanistan and Kosovo, and promoted interoperability through exchanges, exercises and military to military events.

Working as part of the US Army's Training and Doctrine Command in the International Army Programs Division I serve as the senior representative of the TRADOC Commander in France and the Czech Republic. I serve as the eyes and ears for all Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership & Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) developments in the French and Czech Armies that may be of interest to the commander in the accomplishment of the TRADOC mission. I specialize in identifying areas of confluence between the US Army and our counterparts in France and the Czech Republic. I promote personnel, training and doctrine exchanges between our armies in order to maximize interoperability and mutual understanding of capabilities and improving cooperation and coordination in future operations.
