Enersoft develops and markets complex geoscience software for the oil and gas industry. I was promoted into this role to lead team of 4 developers and manage the entire product lifecycle for WellTools (a highly available N-Tier web application utilizing Microsoft Silverlight, C#, WCF, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server Azure, CAD libraries, Entity Framework (4.3.1 and 6.1.1), and ASP.NET MVC.) I’m accountable for constantly evolving the software and architecture to meet client needs, and I work within a fast-paced environment in which business goals and priorities are constantly changing.I’ve been a key contributor to the company’s success by rapidly developing and deploying industry-leading products, often months or years ahead of the competition. I’ve introduced numerous process improvements, including introducing dependency injection into the code base and utilizing parallel development to accelerate product launches.I’ve also designed and developed multiple features to give Enersoft meaningful points of differentiation in a very competitive industry.

I was recruited by Enersoft at their start-up stage, and charged with developing new features for WellTracker, a cost control software for the oil and gas industry written in C# targeting the .NET 4.0 platform and using WPF, Sync Framework 2.1, Infragistics controls, and Entity Framework 4.0. I initially reported to a Development Lead, but I assumed sole responsibility for the software when he left after one year.Stepping into a leadership role so quickly was a challenge, but I put in long hours to learn all aspects of the software and technology, and quickly achieved results, including developing the control panel and writing a Sharepoint module that enabled clients to integrate and manage existing data.

I followed stringent procedures to ensure returns and exchanges were handled correctly, and screened software and hardware issues for technicians, resolving the more straightforward problems immediately. I was able to reduce the turnaround time for computer repairs by utilizing my extensive computer knowledge to gather and relay the relevant technical information.
