Spent entire adult life as a member of the San Francisco Giants. After first five years as a player in the organization, I have been an area scout for the past 30 years covering much of the middle of the country. I have been responsible for scouting players, dealing with coaches, parents and agents, signing players, and being the "face" of the Giants in the 14 states that I have worked in.I have scouted amateur players in the spring/summer and minor league and major league players in the summers since 1988. I have also done "advance" scouting on a limited basis preparing for a potential play-off matchup on several occasions.Specialties: Talent evaluation, developing relationships with coaches, parents, players, agents and other scouts to make life better for all of us.
