I build websites using open source content management, including Drupal and Wordpress. Clients include museums, nonprofits, and organizations with a particular focus on science outreach and science education.

I was responsible for website development at Mystic Aquarium and other divisions of its parent, the Sea Research Foundation. I developed custom sites using Joomla, Drupal, and Wordpress. Projects included the primary Aquarium website, a community site for the Immersion Learning afterschool program, and Nautilus Live, a website featuring live video of ocean exploration aboard Dr. Robert Ballard's Exploration Vessel Nautilus.

I have consulted on a range of content and technology projects. Projects included assisting a non-profit in developing their content management strategy, helping a weekly science radio program syndicate their content through podcasts and Web kiosks, and implementing a student-authored blog for an NSF-funded undergraduate research program.

For ten years, I led the development of all Internet programming at the JASON Foundation for Education, an organization that developed expedition-based science and math curricula for middle schools. I developed educational approaches for using different online media including Web-based simulations, multi-player games, virtual tours, and streaming video. I served as the organization's first Director of Technology.
