Coworking space, coupled with a large group of Mentors and Service professionals, Front 9 is setup to create a "Safe Haven" for startups needing help with the basics without feeling pressures to accept funding or other equity exchanges for the same level of help. I have a strong passion for startups and helping companies operate within budgets. The Front 9 was my attempt to help other aggressive startups find their path to success. I was able to mentor several startups through some very difficult growing pains and help them find ways to create products and services that were developed based off of actual customer experience rather than hypothetical situations. CeoThe Lead Zoo 2010 - Jan 2017To compliment my offshore operations through My Back Office Limited, The Lead Zoo was spawned as a domestic Customer Service and Lead Sales floor for services offered through My Back Office. To think that 100% of a US companies customer touches can be done completely offshore is both Naive and Stupid. While performing Lead Generation services offshore, staff at the Lead Zoo were trained by me to coach and enhance the agents working the front lines in the Philippines. In addition to coaching and training, my US team was involved in taking live transfers from the MBO agents and in closing them for other services from our customers. On our Customer Service side, my team of agents in Utah would handle all escalation calls, training on new services and products, and provide interface and feedback to our customers of issues arising on the phones and on their live-chat, and email support. The Lead Zoo morphed from a simple Lead Gen operation to a full fledged Customer Service and Outsourcing management company. An exciting business that was sometimes hard to differentiate between earning money and having a lot of fun with amazing vendors and customers!With a passion for new technology and hardware control systems, I was able to build an amazing company from nothing in an industry that was still trying to figure out its own identity. The concept of trying to make electronic devices talk to each other and actually control each other using lines of command code over a variety of communication protocol including rs232, simple relays, tcp/ip, and even RF technologies was fun and exciting.My years at LAVA Corp gave me the confidence to design, engineer complex systems, learn to code in very raw languages to manipulate different hardware, sell VERY expensive systems to both commercial clients and many different powerful and influential residential customers. I worked with amazing vendors like Crestron, Sonance, B&W, Runco, JBL, Krell, Vantage, Integra, THX, Digital Projection and became certified in many different types of software language and acoustic and audio certifications. I ended up selling my portion of the company to pursue other business models that were more scalable and could grow to a higher level of revenue. The allure of working on international operations and businesses were too exciting for me to continue working with my passion in high end audio and electronic automation!The important lessons of owning and operating businesses from startup and into years of growth and maturity are lessons I will never forget.
