My aspirations to transform society and provide voice to marginalized communities drove me to pursue a career in journalism.While I was studying mass communication at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, I joined The Press Council, a branch of the Nigerian Union of Campus Journalists, where I worked as a news reporter and wrote articles on various campus issues.I had the chance to regularly have several pieces published in THE PUNCH, the largest newspaper, as a campus journalist. I was selected for the African Young Media Professional fellowship in 2023, which enabled me to gain additional knowledge about the different facets of development journalism.I have experience working as an intern in the public and private sectors of the media. I completed internships at the Oyo State High Court of Justice in Western Nigeria in 2019 and 2020; the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism in 2021 and 2022; and Naijabiography in 2021, among other places, where I obtained practical experience and professional training as a field reporter.To God be praised, I completed my studies at The Polytechnic, Ibadan in September 2023.
