I'm a Licensed Psychotherapist (CA MFT #33428) and certified as a Hypnotherapist, Breathwork Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Reiki Practitioner, and Thai Yoga Massage Therapist. I'm also trained as a Life Coach with the Coaches Training Institute and worked for two decades as a career counselor and professional coach within nonprofits, schools, and Silicon Valley corporations. I co-founded and codirected with my partner a large healing arts center offering yoga, massage, and other healing modalities.I'm a Holistic or Integrative therapist, which means I work with the head, heart, body, spirit, and the natural world to facilitate healing and transformation. My 1:1 and group offerings are firmly rooted in science-based methods of CBT, DBT, and applied positive clinical psychology and are interwoven with ancient knowledge found in Yoga, Buddhism, and Daoism.I'm a perpetual learner, always adding to my understanding of myself and this world. I've studied Dreamwork with Tokopa-Turner, Shamanism with Sandra Ingerman, and Earth Medicine with Pixie Lighthorse. Most recently, I've embarked upon my certification as a Hakomi Mindfulness Centered Somatic Psychotherapy Practitioner and have been studying Somatic Experiencing for Trauma Recovery.My natural way of being is grounded, curious, compassionate, and intuitive.My specialty is supporting others through major Life Transitions as they experience Grief, Loss, Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety.
