March - June, 2017 The Respect ProjectREconceptualising the Service system from the Perspectives of Expert Children and Teens. The RESPECT Project has grown out of a shared concern about the limited extent to which children and young people are engaged in public policy debates and, when children and young people have been consulted, the extent to which their views have been taken into account and had real impact on the service system. The project is a collaboration between Uniting and Macquarie University and is currently in the development phase.Nov - March, 2017 Acting Project Manager for the Volunteer Family Connect Project - a longitudinal randomised control trial into the effect of home volunteer services for disadvantaged families with children on the 0-5 age range. This project is in conjunction with Save the Children Australia (previously Good Beginnings Australia) Karitane and the Benevolent Society and spans 4 states (Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.) This position is responsible for contributing to the conduct of high quality research, high level research specific support to Dr. Rebekah Grace (CIA), support to all Research Assistants and maintaining productive partnerships across the partner organisations and VFC sites.

Modification of the Growth and Empowerment Measure (a tool to measure wellbeing in Aboriginal adults) to enable use with Aboriginal Youth.This was completed with the support of Dr. Emma Webster (Renior Lecturer) and Karen Paxton (Research Manager) at the School of Rural Health and in conjuction with Melissa Haswell (Queensland University of Technology), staff from Apollo House and Leader In Development. A National, online webforum for parents and educators of gifted children with learning disabilities.

Coordinated the administration of Australia-wide above level testing for up to 2'000 students and 300 schools.Programmed and managed the residential programs (APTS, ASSETS and Scienta) which were offered to students scoring in the 95th percentile (or higher) of this above level testing opportunity. Development and implimentation of an affective program to compliment the existing academic structure.Overseeing of residential staff and teachers.Occassional guest speaker appearances for professional development opportunities in schools.Management and administration of the annual Talent Search Recognition Ceremony at UNSW.
