My roles as director and assistant dean have sharpened my administration and leadership skills early in my career, while my research productivity has allowed me to participate in multiple projects with different scopes, ranging from nanoparticle technology to strategizing the use of inclusive pedagogy in STEM. In addition, I have recently picked up more expertise in dispute resolution via a Master of Law program to better address equity matters in an amicable way. I have a knack for conducting diversity and inclusion trainings, meeting folks where they are at and working our way together to a better understanding of our role in the world. When I join a team, I focus on leveraging the existing resources and expertise to foster innovation and creativity.
