I founded the DevOps organization at Hi Marley to accelerate engineering, which enabled the business to achieve 20x growth in ARR during my time there. My role included everything from strategic planning to application code changes to fix insecure data access patterns. I was both a hands-on engineer and a people manager, growing the DevOps & SRE team to 5 engineers.I grew the team's responsibilities to encompass developer experience, deployment tooling, platform observability, security, and cloud operations. Key outcomes included leading the technical team through a successful SOC2 Type 2 audit, migrating our cloud infrastructure from Rackspace to AWS self-managed, and implementing an observability strategy to ensure 99.9% uptime of the core messaging platform.

I was responsible for implementing investment decisions in the Asia-Pacific markets, as a member of a 7-person 24-hour trading team.I developed a quantitative pre-trade strategy model based on the desk's historical trade data, enabling me to automate most trading workflows. This saved me several hours daily, which I reinvested into making the tool available for the rest of the trading desk.

I worked in the Financial Markets Group in Enterprise Risk, with oversight of Trading and Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM).I conducted several rounds of independent trade cost analysis (TCA) in equities and foreign exchange (FX) to ensure Fidelity's trading desks were delivering on best execution commitments.I reviewed the implementation of equity trading algorithms in FCM's Model Trade Execution suite by independently reproducing trade cost metrics and validating fair value correlation triggers.

I turned my passion for photography into a business, serving clients on the east coast. I had the opportunity to provide professional portraits to more than 40 actors, models, and executives over several years.

I contributed to the research process via qualitative data generation and quantitative model creation. I constructed a model utilizing Capital IQ API’s to gather data about the performance of investments in an investment managers portfolio to determine if higher conviction holdings outperformed the market.

I fueled my passion for golf by working at the local country club as a caddy and a bagroom staff member.
