These enterprises bring in an unrestricted income to help fund our core services that support people in need.During the COVID-19 pandemic, I helped the Cyrenians Flavour and Haver Cook School to pivot into a virtual service. My duties include:• Helping to set up the room furniture and lay out documents and equipment ready for the day. • Meeting and greeting candidates as they arrive, taking their ID documents to be looked at and scanned for uploading on to the applicant tracking system.• Interviewing candidates one-to-one for safety and security steward roles, checking their applications with them on the ATS on an iPad to ensure that all their data is correct and fully completed. I also ask them the pre-set interview questions to input into this same system, assessing their suitability for the role, making notes about their performance and making a decision about whether they should get the role or not. • Taking photos of candidates for their G4S ID badges, and then all information gets checked by my manager to be sent to the G4S headquarters. • Can be individually interviewing up to 12 candidates per shift, depending on how busy the day is.
