I have always been a restless and observant person, and since I was a child I have been attracted to the objects that surround me. I remember that I was curious to know how they were made, so I ended up taking them apart to find out, at first without knowing how to put them back together. This innate curiosity led me to study mechanical engineering, as I not only wanted to understand how they worked but also create them from scratch.Once I was a mechanical engineer, I realized the importance of materials in the process of creating new products, that's why I decided to specialize in Materials Engineering. If you know the materials, their properties, and how to transform them, the possibilities of creating increase.Throughout my professional career, I have focused my efforts on the design of forming processes, machinery development, and the study and testing of new materials. However, I felt that my true passion was designing new products. That's why, just before the pandemic, I chose to pursue a master's degree in product design. After completing it, I took the leap and started working in this exciting field.Currently, I work as a researcher in the Product Development and Multiphysics Simulation Unit of EURECAT, where I lead projects aimed at sustainable mobility, focused mainly on battery and hydrogen technologies.
